 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Easy rock hops. If new to this trail and planning on after dark brook crossing on way out; you may want to familiarize self with it in daylight. I recall a hike a few years back where we had trouble picking up trail on other side. |

 | Comments: |
Fairly quiet; only 12 hikers met. Snow started about 2 miles in with increase to 2-3 inches nearing top. Only icy section was at lowest switchback but quickly transitioned to packed snow. Only saw 1 person using yaktrax; others barebooting from sneakers to winter footwear. I was very comfortable with boots and poles and never felt a need to get the micros out. Mid 20's for temps and wind; making for nice day with in and out views while on top. Few snow showers on way down and nicely timed shower when back at car. Thanks Mother Nature! |
