| Comments: |
Had a great day out despite the grey conditions and spitting snow much of the day. Snow line is at about 3300 to 3400 feet. On the Davis Path there is almost two inches which was a relief after the ever present mud and trail water seemingly from Engine Hill Height of land to the Davis Path. We used the herd path/bushwhack to avoid the first 4 crossings though with this low water they did not appear too difficult. Had nice views of the Bald Faces from the summit -- everything else socked in. Felt like winter above 4k feet. |
