Trail mostly in great shape. One rather large mud pit on the Cedar Brook trail and several smaller spots throughout. Some well placed bog bridges between the peaks. |

Thought I was headed to Owls Head but ended up at the Hancocks. Only met one other hiker on this great day. There were no distant views to be found but one of my favorite 1.3 miles in the Whites is between the peaks and it was awesome as usual. There are not many hikes that finish as well as this one. |
