Comments
Comments: Great views of the undercast today. The clouds persisted in the notches all day.
Most of the ledges were dry today making for secure footing. The exception was that some of the rocks on the Cornice Trail between the Randolph Path and the Castle Trail were wet and slippery as they receive little to no sun. The rocks on the Cornice Trail between the Castle Trail and Caps Ridge were dry. The Cornice Trail was a 1.3 mile rock hop with no blazes but there were plenty of cairns to guide the way.
Met the Northeastern University Outing Club members on Mt Adams, a AT thru hiker heading north (late), and many French Canadians.
