i was the only car in the lot at 8 am. when i got back after lunch the lot was totally full and cars were parked up and down both sides of the road. oh, and remind me not to follow cars with out of state plates on the kanc during leaf season. |

no problems today! all easily rock hopped. happy, dry feet. i was glad i had my hiking poles. wouldn't want to do this with high water |

great day to hike this trail. it was so beautiful! trail was dry; water crossings low. nice gentle trail for miles; footbed good enough to run. steeps were dry and easier than i had imagined. lots of leaves down; could be really slippery when wet. looks like the stream changed its course at a couple of places during a big storm (Irene?) there are a bunch of lovely little cairns to help follow the trail thru those spots. |
