Mine was the only car in the big Brickett Place lot. There was one other when I got back, about 8 hours later. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Four crossings of Cold River all easy rock-hops.
There is a flooded section of the Basin Trail a little west of the Pond - about 15 feet long and maybe 6 inches deep. It can be avoided by a rock-hop about 10 yards to the west. |

Three blowdowns on the Royce Trail below the junction with Laughing Lion Trail, all easily circumvented. |

 | Comments: |
I was surprised to have such a great loop nearly to myself, on a prime foliage Saturday. The Baldface Circle lot, just down the road, was overflowing, as always. |
