| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I had intended to part at the Marshfield station but was told I had to wait until 8:00 AM to pay for the parking slip so I went back and parked at the FS parking. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The water crossings on this trail are bridged. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is in good shape. There was one small blowdown I was able to remove. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lauky had a great time in the snow today. Even with the snow it was not cold enough to necessitate the use of his jacket. |

| Comments: |
The Jewell trail above the tree line can be very difficult to follow when the fog is thick. This trail is easy to follow on a nice summer day but watch out when everything is white with snow and the visibility is low. In the afternoon it was easy to follow. |
