Comments
Comments: If you're reading this from your cube midweek, and the weather is still looking nice and sunny up north - figure out an excuse and head up! Foliage was at peak, hiking up through the deciduous trees was fantastic, topped only by the views from Rogers Ledge and the Horn. Wow! We camped at the Unknown Pond tentsite, which was clean and well maintained. This weekend it got pretty crowded, so if you're planning for a weekend stay plan to get there early. Allegedly, Backpacker magazine wrote about this loop recently, and had some wrong trail information.
