Mt. Tecumseh Trail (from Waterville Valley Resort
On the road to Waterville Valley we had to stop for a beautiful bull moose and watch as he walked through the trees turning his head with ease to fit. We enjoyed the sight. Then off and up we went. Real steady climb until about .3 from the summit where we ran into two friends and enjoyed a chat (great to see you out!). Up we go to the summit and enjoyed the views. Hugs and a descent to the other view. On the way down we caught back up with a friend and hiked out talking about trails and hikes until the third water crossing up when we spotted another bull moose! Amazing! The guys ran ahead to get photo's while Kali hauled me up that hill from the water crossing! He followed the path and showed us how healthy and beautiful he was for about 10 minutes. What a way to close my first grid month! Thank you Christopher for a great hike! |
