Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All 5 crossings rock hopped with a little thought.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Most blowdowns cleared (Thanks much); watch for a few stubs on the duckunders however. Bog planks fairly useless on Davis Path section; watch out for spikes.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Shared some cashews with 2 of the gentlest dogs I've met out hiking. Don't believe water for drinking is ever an issue on this route. Nice grades for them; brook crossings could be an issue.

Comments
Comments: Perfect hiking day. Can't recall having better views from Isolation. 30+ hikers met including fun group of VFTT's up top with the nice dogs. Trails all dry!(Doubt if this has ever been reported). No; seriously trails were as dry as I've hiked on them up here; but there were still lots of wet steps and many carefully placed steps needed to avoid wet feet. I'm still 0 for how many on keeping my feet dry as I managed a couple of slips. Congrats to Emerel on Sept. finish with 24 peaks knocked off this month to accomplish goal. Hoping for some more days like this in 2 weeks!
