Bugs
Bugs: None except for a few no-see-ums at the summit that were attracted to white and bright clothing.

Comments
Comments: This was the inaugural hike of the Climb to Conquer Cancer campaign, part of The Prouty, to benefit cancer research and patient services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Some of us carried yellow ribbons to the summit bearing the names of family or friends we've lost to cancer.

The weather on Moosilauke today was unbelievably good. Indeed, I think it may be the best weather I've ever hiked in in the White Mountains. Sunny, with interesting clouds, and just the slightest refreshing breeze even at the notoriously windy summit. Everyone on the hike and at the peak constantly marveled at the weather.

We hope to build on this year's Climb to Conquer to make the annual event bigger and better each year. It's really nice to hike for a cause with friendly, like-minded folks (as participants in Seek the Peak know).

All in all, an absolutely spectacular day on Dartmouth's Mountain. Thank you, deeply and humbly, to all of you who supported my participation in Climb to Conquer. It means a very great deal to me, please know.

Photos to come.
