Comments
Comments: This hike was nearly a twin of yesterday. Different Mountain and trails but the weather was nearly identical. No view from Liberty and lots of wind, limited views from Flume and dead calm. Only saw 1 hiker on the Osseo and 3 on Flume. I saw an adult black bear on the Osseo trail about 20 feet above the second step over blow down (white birch). S/he took off on an apparent bush whack up the hill. Seems odd that an animal that could definitely run me down and have me for lunch instead runs away in fear.
