Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is basically in good shape. Minor mud here and there with a couple of large standing water and mud spots both sides of the summit of Mt. Osceola. There were some patches of snow near the summit as well. The first I've seen this year I think.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I met a very "Happy to see me" huge black dog. I think it was a Newfoundland. She was a joy to meet.

Comments
Comments: New tires made me late to the trailhead but, hey, these are actually round. It was a nice sunny day until about half way up then the clouds started moving in. Nice view from Osceola on the way through but totally socked in by the time I got back from East Peak. Got sprinkled on around 4 but it never amounted to much. Threw my winter hat and gloves on for the first time this year at the top. Had a nice conversation with a spruce grouse. They amaze me....
