Parked at closed gate at Tunnel Brook Road and walked about 1.6 miles to Benton Trail. Road damage from tropical storm Irene is quite severe but can be walked easily. |

Crossing of Tunnel Brook was difficult. No other crossings on these trails. |

Trails in good shape. Some easy step over and walk under blowdowns on the Benton Trail. |
