Comments
Comments: Trail was bare ground and muddy with running water down low. After the jct. with the Bald Knob Spur, the snow line starts. The conditions were perfect for snow shoes with about 2 inches of soft snow on a firm base. No ice to speak of except for some patches down low, that are easy to get around.

The only other person I saw today was Hiker Ed, out working on his 5th Grid.
