| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One stepover on Nineteen Mile Brook Trail. Part of the Carter-Moriah Trail (AT)has received very recent brushing, another part needs brushing so it is probably next. Signs of recent water bar clearing, as well as some nice work with repair and rerouting has been done after Irene damage. The usual awful mudhole in the col between Hight and Carter Come is present. Overall very good trail conditions. |

| Comments: |
Weather was perfect, great visibility from Hight. One of us suffered the loss of both of his boot soles descending onto Carter Notch from the Dome, like retreads on the highway. We repaired them, using up the small roll of gaffers' tape I had. They held up til the Carter Notch Hut, where we bummed some duct tape from the croo member and wrapped them up enough to do the 3.8 or so back to camp and the parking lot. |
