| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
In almost 40 years of hiking the Whites I have never seen more cars or more hikers. Lot was overflowing and cars were parked as far as you could see in both directions from lot. We encountered well over a hundred folks out today in under nine miles. Osceola summit was standing room only. Not.my ideal hiking day but wouldn't miss Flags.on the 48. The Scouts did a great job at both peaks. |
