Comments
Comments: The trail was snow-free on the Link Trail and we started to encounter snow patches on the Lincoln Trail up to Baker's Ledge. Beyond the viewpoint at Baker's Ledge [the viewpoint it is overgrown and I recommend you continue just a bit further on the Lincoln Trail to a clearing with a much better view] there was a good snow base [up to 3 feet]. The snow was hard packed and we found light traction to be helpful; once it gets warmer I would think snowshoes would be more useful. Near the parking lot we found the Lincoln Trail had minimal use versus the Rollins Trail was the way to go. The rocky summit and surrounding ledges were snow-free.
