Comments
Comments: With the LWT closed during the week I headed up the East Side trail to the Franconia Tent site, changed into sandals and waded. With the pemi flowing at less than 200 CFS I had no problems. Water no more than knee deep in several places. The last two crossings of the Black Brook were dry, but water was found up stream on the last crossing. The water flow at the Guyot TS is down to a trickle, so, be sure to top off where the water flows if you are relaying the stream water. I did an over night at the Guyot TS so walking out on the LWT was no problem as it is open Fri. night to Sunday.
