Snow bridges still holding out...a few minor jumps required, streams are still low |

Many blowdowns, all are easy walk arounds |

Too much ice on loop trail for a dog, plus numerous obstacles would make walking a dog on a leash very hard |

| Comments: |
Lots of snow still on trail, no problems until south hancock ascent. The loop trail is very icy. Many with microspikes were complaining of poor traction. we only had our MSR snow shows and it was a very difficult climb. would suggest using crampons until weather warms. Going down south hancock via loop trail was a lot of uncontrolled sliding from tree to tree. Minimal post holing due to cold nights |
