Cleared nearly all the drainages on my 1.7 mile adopted section of Boott Spur Trail (Tuckerman Ravine Trail to Harvard Rock). There are a couple that need the outflows cleared of downed tree material. Delimbed a head high blowdown that lies across the trail, it's an easy duck under. Brushed out a short section just below Harvard Rock, and there's still a bit to be done. Will be back to reblaze the ~1 mile section above the first outlook (which is a lie, the spur doesn't really go anywhere). Some erosion noted, and some rotten bog bridging, and wooden water bars, are slated to be replaced. |

A perfect day for some trail work, though a bit warm. I brought my buddy Kyle along for the ride, and we got a lot done. All but a few water bars cleared out, some brushing done, and a plan for the rest to get finished up before the snow flies. Thanks for the help guy! |
