Black flies and bigger flies drove us crazy on the Hancock Spur |

 | Lost and Found: |
We found a gray mesh bag containing neopreme boots in good condition. They were about 8/10 into the bushwhack. 2 tenths of a mile from the summit. |

This hike is our 91st fire tower hike with only one to go. On the top we saw coiled wire , a stove front and a barrel with glass and pipes in it.
This hike was special because we knew the man who sat in this fire tower when it was operating. He grew up in Glencliff! |
