Comments
Comments: Blue-sky day w/awesome views & full winter conditions!!!! Wind died down mid-morning. I snowshoed all the way to the hut. NOTE: around .5 mi below hut trail switches over to the gully (not on-trail) all the way to the hut. Footing is good in the gully. From the hut to the summits the cover is a mix of SOLID ice & 1/4" styrofoam snow. Rocks stick out here and there. Anyone without decent full crampons was having a lot of trouble. I tried to not look down.... it was SCARY!!! Also, thanks Georg for letting me tag along to Adams - I would have freaked out without you!!!
