Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We were staying at the Philbrook Farm Inn, and the White Trail left from behind our cabin. Trails are open to the public if you check in with the owner's first before parking. My husband later shuttle the car over to the west so that I could redline a bit more.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: At the crossing of the Austin Brook, the Shelburne Trails Club has erected a ferry cage to replace the bridge that was once there. I, regretfully, was too short to pull the cage to my river bank, so I got a little wet crossing the brook.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Orange / Wiggins Trail was well established east of Wiggins Ledge, but the western half did not appear to be cut yet. We had a heck of a time trying to find the blaze to take us down the other side of the HOL; once found, it was like an easy bushwhack... following orange blazes, but finding no trail to speak of. Otherwise all trails blazed and easy to follow with a map / trail description.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water everywhere for Skipper.
