Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All of the river crossings were easily done by hopping rock to rock.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There is one blowdown on the Carter Dome Trail about half way between Zeta Pass and Nineteen Mile but it is easy to climb over. The trail is very muddy in spots and there were a couple of "lakes" that we had to navigate through/around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We didn't have a dog with us.
Bugs: There were no bugs.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost, nothing found.
Comments: The trails were very wet today. In many spots there was water running along the trail, not as bad as rocky branch but enough to make things tricky in spots. There were also many spots were the trail was muddy or where huge puddles/small ponds had formed. The footing going up to Moriah was slick as were a few spots climbing up to North Carter but for the most part the ledge and rocks provided decent footing.
