Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: We avoided the first two crossings on Little River by following the herd path on the north side of the river. The third crossing was an easy rock hop--no need to get the boots wet. We found the best spot to be by a large fallen tree over the river just to the right of where the trail comes out. The tree was on your right when crossing Little River to ascend, with rocks well placed and water low enough at this spot.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few easy step-overs.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several on the trail--muddy but happy

Comments
Comments: A much nicer day than expected with good views. We avoided the first two crossings on Little River by following the herd path on the north side of the river (erosion in a few spots is becoming more significant.) The third crossing was an easy rock hop--no need to get the boots wet. We found the best spot to cross to be by a large fallen tree over the river just to the right of where the trail comes out to the riverbank as you ascend. The tree was on your right, with rocks well placed and water low enough at this spot. A great day out with my sweetie.
