Parking/Access Road Notes: After rendezvous at Twin Mtn gazebo, exchanged and spotted vehicles at Crawford Depot and Appalachia; plenty of space around 6 am at both ends

Water Crossing Notes: None 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: AMC trail crew doing work on the Webster-Jackson Trail above jct on Jackson segment. Upper part of Valley Way in serious disrepair, with much erosion and overgrown veg, and even a blow down to climb over; good thing that AMC huts crews no longer do much packing.

Dog-Related Notes: Lots, including one, Nevis, who had hiked over 1800 miles from Georgia with his human companions, the man being from Scotland

Bugs: No problems until Adams and Madison when the breeze died down and the black flies came out from their hiding

Comments
Comments: Great day for a Presi traverse, although slow, as going solo had no one to push me. Only downer was huge groups of camp kids, with over 50 in one group on Ike. Mobs are expected on Wash summit, but not the others.
