Comments
Comments: Headed up in the fog on Castle. Some of the scrambling on the Castles was a little sketchy on the greasy rocks. Since I was solo I considered turning back but was glad I didn't. Wouldn't want to have descended that way yesterday.

Broke out to a sea of clouds and sun on J's summit. Very cool watching the clouds go up Jefferson Ravine and swallow Adams. Throngs of folks on the ridge. Happy to retreat back to the quiet of Israel Ridge. What a great trail that is. Took a side excursion to the perch for lunch. Also took the detour to Emerald Bluff for some sunny photos of the Castles. Super fun loop that I'd do again in a minute. Beats going up the madness of humanity that was Appalachia.
