A beautiful day on the Rock Pile with my daughter (her first time on the summit). The views were fantastic and the summit crowds were annoying (had to stand in line 10 minutes to take our photo at the summit marker). Ascended via Tuckerman Ravine. I was hoping Boot Spur would be an easier descent, but alas found it rough going once we passed Split Rock and dipped into the woods. Seemed like it went on forever. |
