Couple of easy options at the unbridged crossing. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One blowdown about 10 minutes in on Nineteen-Mile Brook easily stepped over. Lots of nice recent work on this trail and on the trail up to Wildcat A. Greatly appreciated! |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw very little water on ridge from Wildcat B to Wildcat D. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies at summits and other stops biting. Stung by yellow jacket on 19 MBT in between last 2 upper bridge crossings. There were at least 1\2 dozen there. Didn't stick around to take inventory. Followed us for about 15 feet. |

| Comments: |
Trails dry with any wet spots fairly easily stepped through keeping feet dry while staying on path. We were surprised by solitude on the trails today. Only 4 met doing a Gondola to A Peak and back on the ridge today. Must have been lots on the Carters. More views now from spots where blowdowns cleared. First time I've done an out & back here. Noticed the extra elevation gains but lots of this route were very enjoyable hitting a second time on way out. |
