Comments
Comments: Barebooted the bare ground until .5 miles below the mill xing on Dicey's Mill trail, then put on the snowshoes up and over the loop. Finally took them off for the descent on the bare ledges on BBLEdge. Ascent was great snowshoeing - no postholes yet (which is why I hit it early). Quite a few new postholes along the ridge, but they could be hiked around with care. Awesome views from the lookouts and ledges. I was afraid of sliding/falling on the upper ledges on descent but the snow had good snowpack. I didn't see too many people. Awesome day to be out but way too hot. Time for the shorts & snowshoes!!!
