Comments
Comments: Simply an awesome day and way to end Winter. Crawford path gets dicey near the height of the land before the summit of Pierce. Quite a variety of tracks to chose from. Wasn't until the summit of Pierce we could see the true trail. Over Eisenhower and up to Monroe was no problem but tracks were everywhere. Doesn't look like Edmons was broken out. Beautiful cornice on the way to Monroe with Washington in the background. Still a lot of snow but it's getting slushy. Many postholes, snowshoes recommended. Took the Gully Whack going down to the Cog. Easy enough to follow and then walking on the brook on the way out. Nice to meet Barbara and Charlie at both ends on the day.
