Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock hoppable. It's nice the water levels have finally dropped a bit.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of old waterbars are tagged to be replaced, due to rotting logs and a fair amount of water glowing down the trail in some places on the Liberty Springs trail. The juct. Of liberty springs tr. and flume slide tr. is a muddy mess.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali had a blast, but the flume slide trail may not be for beginner dogs. Kali is a highly experienced wonder dog.

Comments
Comments: Headed up for the sunset on Flume or Liberty but we were in and out of the clouds and were lucky enough to get a wonderful veiw of the orange sky over the Kinsmans together. Our plans were to walk the ridge under the stars and descend Mt. Lafayette via the Old bridal path but we declined this option as it was socked in the clouds all night. So we will be back on a clearer night the next chance we get. Thanks To my little hiker gal for the great sunset hike with Gumbyhiker.
