A pair of trekking poles were left at the Kiosk at Hale Brook Trail. I lost my orange pack cover somewhere on the Zealand tr. Met a group and asked them to take it to the hut. |

The Hale Brook Tr. is in great shape. Lend a hand has a lot of deep standing water... not a suprise after all this rain! We had a dry ascent and a wet descent. The rain stopped when we left the hut. Great day out. Sandy and I saw a spruce gouse hen and two chicks on the Lend a hand. We also saw some large purple fringed orchids on the Zealand Tr. and shinleaf at the start of the Hale Brook Trail. |
