Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crawford Brook was an easy rock hop even after the night's rain
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: still some blowdowns on the Willey Range trail between WFiewld and Willey. Herd path bypasses it.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fine for dogs!
Bugs
Bugs: lots of them out. Didn't get bit but didn't stop long enough to find out and had the bug spray on, it was needed for the mosquitos. When I stopped it was the annoying ones that just stick to you everywhere that gave me issues.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was a black mesh pouch thingy hanging from a tree on the Mount Tom Spur Trail

Comments
Comments: Sorry for the late post on the report. Only two things of note. The recent small relocation of the Avalon Trail is a muddy mess and very slippery after rain (as bad as an Adirondack herd path!). The small blowdown section between Mount Field and Willey has a nice herd path forming.
