Only one other car when i started, and i was the last one in the parking lot when i got back. |

Most were rock hoppable, at one point i just decided to stop caring about wet feet and walked through, but it only went up to my angles |

trail need to be re-blazed BADLY! almost no blazes. |

Saw one, seemed to be doing well, no idea how he got up the North peak trail. |

at the bottom they weren't bad, at the top of south peak i got eaten alive, the blacflies and deer flies didn't even care i was dripping in bug spray! Another hiker told me they were were on north peak, he said he was pretty much driven off the peak by them. |

Little too warm for a hike for me, it got to about 85 during the day which just wore me out. one thing of caution to other hikers, about a quarter mile before you reach Hancock loop trail, the trail is supposed to cross the river, the river crossing is covered and blocked by trees and since there is no blazes i missed it. I was following what was a well beaten path (so i know others have missed it too) for about a half hour until it dead ended! Thankfully i had my trusty map and compass to bushwack it back to where the trail was supposed to be. So be very careful you dont make the same mistake. View from South peak was nice, little hazy but nice. I'llbe back for North Peak some day. |
