Kudos to the axe wielders up above with much work noted on blowdowns including the step overs etc from Sandy damage on Willey Range left behind in prewinter saw cleanup last year. While a little brishy in spots on Avalon and Willey Range the corridor has been reclaimed

Comments
Comments: I love it when plan B works out. a pre planned hike postponed, opted for civilized start time and made the right call today. a little drizzle around avalon but the day got progressively better and clearing skies and sun were the reward on Tom by the end of the day. Trails in good shape..especially A_Z which offered great footing. Trees keep growing on Tom obscuring the fine view from there but the eastern viewpoint, while brushy to get to offered fine views to Presidentials and carrigain area..great day to be out . Only saw a couple of folks past williard
