Trail Maintenance Notes: amazing to see the erosion on this trail since the flash floods 5 years ago..especially down low the damage is very evident and made worse by Irene, Sandy etc..time for a reroute..that being said this is the best blazed trail in the Whites..guess that counts as maintenance as far as the state is concerned

Lost and Found: an amazing amount of toilet paper up high on this route

Comments: had a brief window this afternoon so hit cannon for second round.hoka's worked excellent on rock etc on ascent..a few folks out..rainy and blustery above 3000 feet...steadier rain coming dow and a little slick in the lower elevations..I needed this after a busy work week...great to be out!!
