| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small paved lot. Had 4-5 cars AM and 4-5 cars PM when I got back but based on how the remaining cars were parked the lot was full earlier in day. Two cars out on the Kancamagus too. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing all fairly small and easy. Some of smaller brooks were actually dry. Couldn't believe it with all the rains we've had. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Someone has been through and done a lot of maintenance. Saw a lot of sawdust, wood chips and fresh cut trees. Both trails in great shape. After junction with Mt Osceola trail (heading toward Upper Greeley Pond) there was a pretty good blowdown but there was a well worn bushwhack around. Plenty of yellow blazes but they were old and faded. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
I personally would not take a dog on Mt Osceola trail. There are several rough, steep and tricky sections a dog could slip and break a leg in or take a substantial fall. Having said that there were two groups with dogs going up as I was descending. Owner had to give a few assists to one dog to get up the steep pitches. |

| Bugs: |
Mosquitos right from the parking lot and black flies joined in at the upper elevations and ponds. They were biting but were not very aggressive. A little repellent kept them away as long as you didn't stop for an extended period of time. |
