| Comments: |
Great day to be above treeline with temps in the 50's (est.), light to moderate gusts, and miles of visibility. Striking views everywhere. Moderate traffic but, as usual, never met another hiker who wasn't a good fella/gal. Short break at summit for hero and panorama photos then returned the same way. Kudos to the NHF&G and BLM officers as well as the AMC Miz crew for coordinating, treating, and CARRYING OUT an injured hiker from the col between Pierce and Eisenhower. |
