First crossing snowbridged. Carrigain Notch crossing open, but easily rock hoppable. Swamp water crossing rock hoppable. Small one beyond that just opened up and may be tricky. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of cleanup as been done, though plenty of blowdowns still remain. I removed a few and prep-cut a few others - hopefully after a few more days of melting, some folks can pull them out of the way. |

| Comments: |
Wore snowshoes roundtrip, though Sawyer River Road (top to bottom spring snow, though bare spots slowly creeping up) could be booted. Some folks booted the first 2 miles of Signal Ridge (flats) this morning, however by this afternoon, snowshoes were necessary due to 50 degree temperatures. Snowshoes a must once reaching the ascent proper. Lots of branches in the face. Signal Ridge drifts 12+ feet deep - unreal! Lots of routes beyond there - my lonely tracks hope onto the trail proper toward the lowpoint on the drifts, while the others follow the drifts awhile longer, then bushwhack to the left onto the trail. For the final ascent, the route was broken out way too far to the left, reaching a subpeak and some slow going. I broke out the trail proper on the way down and brushed the entrance to the unnecessary bushwhack. |
