Comments
Comments: Awesome day! Everyone agreed. Views from Garfield are great and while there were a bunch of people coming and going, there seemed to be room for everyone to have their own patch of summit to enjoy. I highly recommend this trail. It is quite easy. In a way, the 3rd mile might be hardest, not because of footing or steepness, but because you keep thinking, "I must be getting close!" Footing is good the whole way, and the grades are truly easy-moderate, except for the very end when you have to get up the rocky cone. If this could portend this hiking season, that would be great!
