Comments
Comments: Always a great day when it's spent hiking but unfortunately fogged in at summit when we arrived and slick enough to make certain spots tricky, particularly the very last ledge on the Skook. before the GRT junction - there's a good workaround to the right through the bushes. Same with a few slick spots on steep slabs toward N. Lafayette. We aborted plans for a loop hike on the GRT to the main Lafayette Peak/Greeleaf as the thought of raw, biting wind for the next 2 hours just wasn't fun, so we descended via Skook. Of course about an hour into descent the sun was shining. But better safe than sorry; reminding self that the mountain will be there another day.

As always the autistic wonderboys are wonderful boys, consistently outpacing and outdoing their parents. Every trail with them is a reminder of how much they teach us and the world; life is mostly about putting one foot in front of the other, and keeping on.
