 | Comments: |
Most certainly excellent day--temp=20 at start; wind=20; brilliant sun; views forever.
Snow up OBP crusty enough in am for microspikes--from ~3800' to ~4400' some drifts made snowshoes best--upper 0.5 miles to Lafayette summit icy (recommend ice ax at the ready here)--FRT variously bare, icy, small drifts; traction worked for us--FWT getting soft in the afternoon; areas not too steep allow snowshoes to get over mashed up trail; getting rotten low down. |
