Plenty of room at the ski area. Route 49 paving still in progress. |

None via this route. I suspect the brook crossings are higher than normal, but they weren't preventing folks from ascending this afternoon. |

Surprisingly minimal - a few black flies and an occasional deer fly (not pursuing yet). |

Rain ceased much earlier than forecasted, so things were drying out nicely late morning. The sun even came a few times. The access road (starts at the ski area maintenance building) was dry and smooth sailing. The Sosman Trail and upper Mt. Tecumseh Trail were both not too wet (waterbars built in the past few years catch the springs and pull the water off the trail quickly). The ski trail grass is only about 6-10" tall at the moment, so those weren't too bad either. Still some large piles of snow on the terrain park snow (largest is still 6 feet deep). |
