Comments
Comments: The plan was to get the Howker Ridge Trail past Hitchcock Fall up to Pine Link Trail jct...early start in case to beat t storms..weather so good kept going..nice breeze kept me from overheating...so just kept going to summit of Madison and returned same way...great views east and south, Presi slopes were colorful, some snow in ravines, all summits in the open..west and north views hazy..saw a trail runner shortly after starting and group of 2 guys and a gal ascending the 3rd Howk as I was descending..enjoyed this trail but it was a workout for sure...!
