Water Crossing Notes: All rock-hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of drainage issues, but not sure much can be done about them. One large tree to step over, but easily done.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hot day for the pups, but lots of mud and water
Bugs
Bugs: Blackflies were out, especially around the brook crossings and wet spots, but we went through them and they didn't follow us out the other side. Not yet annoying. Just a couple weird "summit bugs" up above, but a nice breeze kept most at bay.

Comments
Comments: Hiked with MichaelJ on our almost-annual "blackfly hike" but it didn't live up to its name today! Weather was warm and steamy, but the woods were beautiful. Lots of folks (many kids) on the trail today. Lounged in the sun on the summit for almost half-an-hour. Views were very hazy from the humidity. A good day out!
