Parking/Access Road Notes: The Cog hikers lot was free today. The Forest service lot was also open

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossing of the Amonoosuc were doable. There is a crossing right after (or before) the Forest Service parking lot that is very deep. If you go that way plan to take your shoes off. It can be bypassed by parking in the cog lot.

Trail Maintenance Notes: One tree down on the trail on Jewell and one blowdown on the lower Amonoosuc

Comments
Comments: The Jewell and Gulfside trails are totally free of snow and ice. The upper 500' of the Amonoosuc has some significant snow and ice. Spikes are useful although most folks didn't have them with them
