Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Brooks are up, but were able to cross all without much difficulty. Waterproof boots help, as often boots are submerged briefly for an inch or two.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns between Zeacliff and the summit. Lots of blowsdowns on the Bondcliff trail between the last brook crossing on Bondcliff and the trail jct.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies below 3K, especially below 2,500. With the cool temps, and cold/snow of the past several days we found the best remedy was to simply keep moving. We the temps soaring in the next few days don't forget the deet. Didn't see any ticks or mosquitos.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: The beaver dam on the trail going into Zealand in the area of the AZ trail washed out, leaving a large mud flat. It didn't take out any damns below it, however. Snow - some old, some new - above 3,500. Carried spikes, didn't need them.
