Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I took crocs and waded most of the crossings, some are close together, just kept them on..did rock hop and log cross on last two on Castle Ravine but it was "hope I don't fall in.." Easiest one was up high coming down Israel Ridge..
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: not many blowdowns, the 4 ladders on Israel Ridge were in good shape..

Comments
Comments: once near the entrance to Castle Ravine the snow depth picked up...I used microspikes to climb the Bluff and also to come down...took them off shortly after second ladder descending..first time I recall using crocs and micros the same hike!! still anywhere from 2-8 inches of snow up near the bluff and with warm temps and possible t storms coming up, if anyone wants to use these trails, water crossings will be a challenge..liked the Bluff, it has a good view to the Castles, Castle Ravine, west into VT and north over the scrub...
